Terms of booking;

We require a 50% non refundable deposit to secure your booking

Balance of payment must be 4 weeks before event. We can be flexible on final figures up to a week before your event. If you need a few more or a few less, it is not a problem.

It is down to the buyer to ensure people with food allergies such as Dairy, Wheat, Gluten, Egg and Nuts are not served Welsh Cakes at your event. We cannot be held responsible if they are consumed by any guests who are likely to suffer a reaction to any of the ingredients we use.

We take food hygiene very seriously and prep our cakes in a clean kitchen. The cakes are wrapped as soon as they are cool, minimising any risks. Once collected, they must be kept at an even temp; no need to refrigerate. If buying loose to pack yourselves, we advise that you do so in a kitchen area that has been cleaned appropriately before hand.

Megan's Welsh Cakes

please visit our FaceBook page for regular updates, images and reviews.

We are regulated by Rhondda Cynon Taff Council, and have a hygiene rating of 5.

Megan's Was founded in 2009 after having a visit from a lovely English lady who was served a Welsh Tea. She thought the cakes were delicious and suggested we sell them. After approaching my Mother In Law (Megan, who I called Mam) for permission to use her name and recipe, we got to work on spreading the word. Megan lived in Maerdy, a small but big hearted town in the Rhondda, until March 2011, when she sadly passed away at the age of 91. I moved in to her home as a young teenager and always looked forward to her baking. She taught me how to bake, and we dedicate this little business to her memory, with much, much love.
